"if you want to know

what john kerry was like, ask the men who served with him." quote from john edwards. don't think he would like what these men are saying.

thanks to an amigo for the link.

oh, now THAT is funny. one of the men was his commander, and they all served in the same unit. 23 of the 24 officers have repudiated kerry's version, and 23 congressional medal of honor recipients have come on line against kerry, and his ability to lead. and one republican developer donating $100,000.00 to a veterans group that wants to set the score straight is a right wing wacko organization when groups like ACT (good political satire on that commercial, by the way) or moveon.org, who've been funded by the $15-$20 million dollars from george freaking souros, are just concerned citizens? perhaps you should actually listen to what these men have to say. almost half of them are democrats, by the way. what ax do they have to grind? kerry has advertised his time in vietnam as a foundation to his ability to lead, and these are men that disagree. what, time to negate the 1st amendment as well as the 2nd? this group is only the first of the republican responses to the 527 groups ("uncoordinated political groups divorced from the party leadership and campaigns...yeah right) that the dems have so effectively launched.
i find your discomfort strangely comforting.
the dems set the rules, and now are whining that the repubs are responding in same. can't have it both ways big boy

oh, if you have been listening or reading about these men at all, you will find a response by the rear admiral (ret.) who was kerry's boss in vietnam. his response to mccain was respectful, but i appreciated the comment..poorly remembered quote from hearing him on the radio today .."yes. senator mccain can disagree with us, as it is his right. but to correct something he said, i must point out that while he was in pow camps and prison for 5 years, i was here in the delta with kerry."
