as i was headed to the shower

i noticed that i'd been using my "nuclear notepad" at work tonight. i use it so often, i don't even realize that i am. just another surface to write info on, and it's reusable and doesn't add to the waste stream, so it's environmentally friendly! anyone else do this?

Yeah, but I wash my hands after using the bathroom, and since I need to go often (I'm a girl, 'k?), I wash my hands often, and I wash off that oh-so-important info, and...

...when I write on the back of my hand, I get all embarrassed because everyone can see it.

So, no, I don't do that.

i shall ignore the implication, ahem, and state for the record that as a nuke, i wash my hands almost obsessively, with major heavy duty soap. i don't know why, but i almost need a steel brush to get ink out. the only time i don't is when i'm wearing exam gloves for hours at a time. then, not only is the ink gone, but the first two layers of skin are too. besides, hand notes are for quick jots that then get transcribed or acted upon. no need for long term information storage. for that, you write on the top of your forearm.
