i'd like that grilled please

have you heard about the 22 pound lobster that was caught and sent to a pittsburg fish market? the story (at least part of it) can be found at sfgate.com. what cracks me up, and why i posted this is because
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals sent Wholey a letter asking him to work with the group to release Bubba back in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Maine.

Another group calling itself People For Eating Tasty Animals reportedly offered Wholey a hefty price for the lobster. At Tuesday's price of $14.98 a pound, Bubba would retail for about $350.

i guess the people for eating tasty animals were getting ready for the annual International Eat an Animal for pETA Day. which would be march 15th of course.

the sad news is, no drawn butter, no free and easy living large in the bottom of an aquarium. good ol' bubba died shortly after being transported to the aquarium. the folks at the aquarium stated that they would be doing a necroscopy/autopsy on bubba tomorrow. the only thing left to explain is why the lab intern was seen at safeway buying 10 pounds of butter.

LOL! I think Bubba's meat should be auctioned off, by the pound, on EBay.

I'm noting March 15 on my calendar. I have a pork tenderloin in the freezer.

I'll take it out to thaw the night before.

oink, oink
