she gave me that "Louise Fletcher" look
seems this picture says it all:
a quiet corner on the info superhighway for the rantings and ruminations of a geezer bemused by modern society. political correctness is left at the curb. "An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life. Robert A. Heinlein "

Ah yes. Nurse Rached. but Miss Fletcher has turned into a sweet old lady.
Yep,
that is about the look and attitude I got from the Civil Service clerk who was handling my retirement package at N.B. Kitsap PSD recently.
You have to love the Civil Service system. It allows those who CAN'T, to still show up somewhere Monday-Friday and draw a paycheck. no matter how pathetic their ability or attitude.
I guess it is still better than having them on welfare. Because then they would have to walk to the mail box to get a paycheck. More work and skill than some I have run into have possessed.
