Nearby my house there are fields and fields of sunflowers. I love driving on this one road which has sunflower fields lining both sides. And I keep meaning to take my camera with me.
this pic was from somewhere in japan according to the yahoo blub that accompanied it. here in northern californa, they grow hundreds of thousands of acres of sunflowers commercially, and one of the biggest growing areas is along hiway 505 between vacaville and willows. it's a real pleasure driving along that hiway, miles of yellow flowers lifted to the sun.
