road trip to dc
hmmm. let's see. 12 hours of meetings, 17 hours in airports or airplanes.
yup. this is going to be fun.
a quiet corner on the info superhighway for the rantings and ruminations of a geezer bemused by modern society. political correctness is left at the curb. "An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life. Robert A. Heinlein "

hop
At least you'll have time for some of the good food, right?
i wish edieraye. actually, i didn't have time or energy to do much except vegitate. got in at midnight edst (after getting to work at 5:30 a.m. edst), up at 6:00 edst, sat in meetings all day long, went back, ate a quick dinner at the hotel, crashed at around 9 (tossed and turned because my body thought it was still 6 pm). up the next morning at 6, meetings until time to leave, and back home at midnight. basically i was a walking zombie. food wasn't high on my priority list. too bad, because that area around d.c. has a bunch of great restaurants. next time.
