no..no... not THAT switch
explain to the boss why you just lost the company $11million
that's why when i have contractors around work, one of us is with them at all times. it's a really bad thing to have someone throw the wrong switch around here.
a quiet corner on the info superhighway for the rantings and ruminations of a geezer bemused by modern society. political correctness is left at the curb. "An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life. Robert A. Heinlein "

Speaking of losing money, I remember quite a few times troubleshooting our analog based sonar system and running through 4-5 high voltage power supplies, each running about $4k, only to find that the problem that was burning them up was upstream of the them. Whoops.
Good story Bud!! While were on the loosing money subject, do you happen to remember throwing perfectly good spare parts overboard just because we going to end the year with a surplus which meant less money for next fiscal year??
i don't remember tossing parts, but i do remember christmas in september with the most awesome servmart runs ever.
