it's official, our car was stolen!
broad daylight, right out of the parking lot at Arden Fair Mall in Sacramento. Di went Nordstrom's to buy a dress for her son's wedding, and when she came out..... gone.
bummer
a quiet corner on the info superhighway for the rantings and ruminations of a geezer bemused by modern society. political correctness is left at the curb. "An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life. Robert A. Heinlein "

That just can't suck enough. I had mine stolen back in '96. About a week later the local cops found it being driven by a 15 year old. Little scumbag!
I hope you get it back. Prob'ly already chopped for parts.
I drive a 40 y/o VW bug with a bent frame and a lot of rust. The interior is original and totally trashed, runs like a champ.
I park it on the street, never even lock it. The police do slap a lot of derelict, notice to tow tickets on it, so I have to move it around.
BTW-
I don't think I'm gonna make it to Silverdale. Sounds like it's gonna be way too family oriented. I liked the boys night out atmosphere of Reno.
I'm pretty sure we talked for awhile at that one. That was before my blogging days.
I was the guy rolling his own and making the snide comments. As usual.
Have a good trip!
OUCH! Sorry to hear that, Bo. I hope you get it back soon - and in good condition.
