a quiet corner on the info superhighway for the rantings and ruminations of a geezer bemused by modern society. political correctness is left at the curb. "An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life. Robert A. Heinlein "

Bo, those temperatures are rough! I remember arriving home from vacation one Sunday a few years ago with an indoor temperature in the high 90s. A/C was OOC.
Slept on an outside deck with a large window fan in my skivvies a few nights (alone). We could not get the heat pump compressor (still under warranty) replaced for 4 days due to all the service calls that had been placed before we got home.
Still, never had temps that bad when we lived in the Golden state. Wow!
I remember summers in Bakersfield leaving the house at 6 am going to work and it would be 100 still. But that was better than the fog in early spring. Man that crap was thick.
As my wife would say (and has on many ocassions)...."ah...stop yur pissin & moanin...just think cool thoughts".....
Kiddin aside...what State do y'all live in Bothe...?
according to my wife, the state of confusion.
but seriously, i'm in vacaville california, where this isn't all that unusual for this time of year. a couple of degrees warmer maybe, but normal.
dang.
